Lesser mealworm (Buffalo Beetles)

Buffalo beetles are excellent clean-up crew insects that help break down waste, improve substrate quality, and contribute to a healthier, more naturalistic ecosystem for your reptiles. They work best when combined with isopods  and springtails, each species covering different layers of the cleanup cycle.

Buffalo beetles do well in both dry and humid enclosures, making them one of the most flexible clean-up crew species.
