Phoenix Worms are one of the most nutritious and convenient feeder insects available for a wide range of reptiles and amphibians. Naturally high in calcium and low in fat, Phoenix Worms require no dusting and can be fed straight from the container—live or tong-fed.
Ideal for feeding to:
• Bearded Dragons
• Leopard Geckos
• Crested Geckos
• Chameleons
• Anoles
• Skinks (Blue Tongue, Fire Skinks, etc.)
• Frogs and Toads (like Pacman frogs, White’s tree frogs, etc.)
• Turtles and Aquatic Reptiles
• Small Monitors and other insectivorous lizards
• Young snakes that accept insect prey
• Birds and small mammals (insectivorous species)
Nutritional Profile
• Protein: 17–20%
• Fat: 9–10%
• Calcium: 2.5% – 3%
• Phosphorus: 0.6%
• Calcium-to-Phosphorus Ratio: ~3:1 (ideal for reptiles)
• Moisture: 60–70%
This natural high-calcium content makes Phoenix Worms one of the only feeder insects that does not require calcium dusting, helping support strong bones, healthy growth, and proper shedding in reptiles.
